Silk Route

Valencia is recognized in the program of the UNESCO Silk Route. On this route we will visit the Barrio de Velluters, where until the 19th century the looms dedicated to the manufacture of silk were concentrated.

Silk Guild Headquarters. The building houses a museum with a loom. From Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 18.30. Monday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm

Palace of the Tamarit.

Building that housed in the s XVIII one of the thousands of looms that existed in the District of Velluters. Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Central Market.

Modernist in style, it is one of the largest and most beautiful markets in Europe.

Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm

Lonja de la Seda – Silk Museum

La Lonja was the engine of the economy in the fifteenth century. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most visited monuments in Valencia.

Sundays and holidays from 9.30 to 15.00.
